Privacy

This page describes how SameWhen handles information when you create or join an availability event. It is a draft placeholder and will be updated before formal legal use.

What we store

• Event details you enter (title, date range, time window, optional headcount).
• Display names participants choose when joining an event.
• Availability slots painted on an event grid.
• A session cookie that remembers which participant you are on that device for that event. There are no accounts, emails, or passwords.

What we do not collect

SameWhen does not require an account. We do not ask for email, phone numbers, or passwords to use the product. Theme preference may be stored locally in your browser.

How data is hosted

Event and availability data are stored in a database hosted by Supabase. The app is served from our hosting provider. Access to an event is effectively controlled by possession of the event link (slug).

Retention

Events and their participant data are deleted automatically 6 months after the event's last date. There is no indefinite archive of stranger names or availability.
